'iZombie' Season 3 News: Premieres April 4; Liv More Lifelike Than Usual?

The CW series "iZombie" season 2 had its last airdate for quite some time now, so fans everywhere would be absolutely thrilled when news of the season 3 release date hits online sites everywhere. The third season of the hit zombie comedy drama will premiere this coming April 4 on 8:00 p.m. Central Time.

The photo teaser for the premiere of "iZombie" season 3 first appeared on the official Facebook page of the series, with an image of the cast. To the immense relief of fans who have been waiting for what is now nearly an entire year after the last season went off-air, most of the popular cast members look to be making a return to the show this April.

From left to right in The CW's announcement image, the cast are Rahul Kohli as Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti, Aly Michalka as Peyton Charles, Malcolm Goodwin as Clive Babine, Rose McIver as Liv Moore and David Anders as Blaine DeBeers.

The ComicBook offers their bit of speculation on what could be coming next to the series, just based on one single photo posted on the Facebook page. The livelier, more human appearance of Liv Moore in this picture, the site says, could indicate a possible, upcoming event in "iZombie," and they offer the idea that Liv could be cured of her zombie-ness. Whether it would be temporary or an entirely permanent cure is a lot to speculate at this point with just a single photo to go on with. Considering the wait until April 4 though, fans might as well take a guess on whether Liv gets to live as a normal human being again, even for a brief time.

According to Metro, they are pretty sure that the next season will introduce not one but multiple antagonists, and maybe more than two even. The enigmatic Fillmore Graves will probably get some screen time as well.
