'iZombie' Season 4 Spoilers: Liv and Chase to Pursue Romance
Liv Moore (Rose McIver) and Chase Graves (Jason Dohring) may be the next power couple in the upcoming season of "iZombie."
In an interview with Hidden Remote, McIver said that her character is definitely attracted to Chase. During the last installment, the pair slept together, but they both decided not to make a big thing out of it. Still, the possibility of a romance blooming between the two is high. Though they have disagreements, there is no denying that they are attracted to one another. This will be a huge challenge for Liv since she is determined to keep things cool with the new leader of Seattle.
"I think she definitely attracted to him," McIver teased. "She finds him an attractive, interesting [man] and she does respect him. They disagree very strongly about how to handle [things]. I don't know going forward [that they'll explore the relationship further], but I wouldn't rule anything out."
It has been teased that Liv and Chase would not see eye to eye on things in season 4. Although the city has a new mayor, Floyd Baracus (Kurt Evans), it is Chase who is going to be the true figure of authority. His style of leadership will reportedly rub Liv the wrong way.
In an interview with Comicbook, McIver said that her character would not like Chase's dictatorial approach in governance. Still, she would try to understand, knowing Seattle needs a stricter leader due to the complexities of a combined human and zombie population.
"It's sort of an authoritarian dictatorship, which obviously she doesn't respond to, but she also knows that zombies and humans co-existing is an incredible stretch," McIver said. "How do we find a way that makes everybody feel safe, that makes nobody feel marginalized?"
"iZombie" Season 4 is expected to air early 2018 on The CW.
