'iZombie' Season 4 Spoilers: Liz Does Not Approve of Chase's Form of Leadership

Liv (Rose McIver) will not be a fan of Chase's (Jason Dohring) form of leadership in the upcoming season of "iZombie."

In an interview with ComicBook, McIver said her character would likely have problems accepting Chase's way of leading both the human and zombie population in the new installment. It has been previously teased that though Seattle has a new mayor in Floyd Baracus (Kurt Evans), Chase is the actual authority figure. Now that the city is infested with the undead, chaos is bound to crop up any moment. Chase is said to be applying a dictatorial approach in governance, something that Liv is against. Still, she understands that a stricter leadership style is needed to keep things in check.

"It's sort of an authoritarian dictatorship, which obviously she doesn't respond to, but she also knows that zombies and humans co-existing is an incredible stretch," McIver told ComicBook. "How do we find a way that makes everybody feel safe, that makes nobody feel marginalized?"

Meanwhile, viewers of the series are looking forward to seeing more of Liv and Chase's blooming relationship. In the show's last installment, the two hooked up but tried to keep things cool afterwards. According to McIver, there is a possibility that the romance will be one of the spotlights in season 4. She previously told Hidden Remote that her character was certainly attracted to Chase. Although they have disagreements, they cannot both deny the attraction they feel for each other. Liz's plotline is bound to be more interesting now that people know what she is.

"I think she definitely attracted to him," McIver teased. "She finds him an attractive, interesting [man] and she does respect him. They disagree very strongly about how to handle [things]. I don't know going forward [that they'll explore the relationship further], but I wouldn't rule anything out."

"iZombie" Season 4 is expected to air early 2018 on The CW.
