'iZombie' Season 4 Spoilers: Will Liv Have a New Love Interest?

Liv Moore (Rose McIver) may find herself romantically involved with a human in the upcoming season of "iZombie."

Spoilers for the new installment reveal that a new face will arrive in Seattle in the middle of the zombie crisis. The CW has reportedly tapped on actor Daniel Bonjour to play the role of Levon, a documentarist who will investigate the changes happening in the city.

Previously, the entire city of Seattle watched the rise of the undead. Almost half of the population turned into flesh-eating monsters. Levon's appearance will coincide with the presence of a new threat. It has been teased that human traffickers will flock to the city and take advantage of the melee.

Levon is speculated to work alongside Liv in his quest to find the truth. It is not impossible that the two will become close and form a beautiful friendship. It may even come to a point when one or both of them will fall for one another.

Fans of Liv have been wanting to see her in a new relationship. Previously, she was about to begin a romance with Chase Graves (Jason Dohring). In an interview, McIver said that while her character definitely feels something for the new leader of Seattle, a relationship might not happen at all.

"I think she definitely attracted to him," McIver teased. "She finds him an attractive, interesting [man] and she does respect him. They disagree very strongly about how to handle [things]. I don't know going forward [that they'll explore the relationship further], but I wouldn't rule anything out."

If Liv and Chase will not give romance a chance, she may want to open herself to other suitors, human or undead. Levon's description hints that he is a good man. There is no reason for Liv not to become attracted to him, even though he is technically food for her.

"iZombie" Season 4 is expected to air early 2018 on The CW.
