Jack Huston To Be Next James Bond? Daniel Craig Remains Undecided

With a new Bond film already in the works, fans are wondering who will take up the iconic 007 role this time around. Will Daniel Craig give it another shot or will producers have to look for a new actor?

For the past four James Bond films, Craig has portrayed the role of the secret agent, beginning with 2006's "Casino Royale." This was followed by 2008's "Quantum of Solace," 2012's "Skyfall" and 2015's "Spectre." However, it has been reported that Craig may be looking to hang up the gun for good.

Several actors have been rumored to take on the role for the upcoming Bond film, currently operating under the name "Bond 25." But, according to the Daily Mail, one of the producers, Barbara Broccoli, is apparently eyeing Jack Huston. Broccoli and Huston had previously worked together on the London stage for "Strangers On A Train."

Apart from Huston, the producer is also reportedly "absolutely keen on having a black actor playing Bond." And while Idris Elba has also been rumored to be playing the role after Craig, he would be "too established" for it.

However, there would be no need to replace Craig if the British actor is still up for a fifth outing as James Bond. Broccoli and another producer, Michael G. Wilson, are both holding onto hope that Craig would be interested to return, but he has not made a decision yet. A report from The Hollywood Reporter, though, claims that the actor may reprise the role once more.

The James Bond films have had a long-standing relationship with watchmaker Omega, having featured their pieces numerous times. Craig himself was turned into an Omega fan after donning them for his films, and his positive partnership with the company has sparked rumors that he may very well consider taking on the role for a fifth time.

"You've been a wonderful ambassador. I know I'm not alone in saying that we are hoping it's you," Omega CEO Raynald Aeschlimann said at the invite-only dinner at The Beekman Hotel.

Filming for the next James Bond film is speculated to commence next fall.
