Jacksonville Jaguars vs Washington Redskins Live Stream: Watch NFL 2014 Football Online (CBS TV Preview)
The Jacksonville Jaguars will play the Washington Redskins on Sunday as both teams look for their first win of the new season. Today's game will start at 1 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the CBS network or online through live stream (details below).
The Jaguars will travel to the FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland knowing that their season could quickly take a similar shape as last season if they lose again. The Redskins meanwhile will know that defeating a team like the Jaguars at home in Landover is a must if they are to have any kind of chance of making the Playoffs this season.
These two teams managed only seven wins between them last season, and based on the season opener for both last week there has not been a massive improvement since then.
The Jaguars will have been so hopeful that this season would be different after they led 17-0 over the Philadelphia Eagles at halftime in Week 1. The Eagles are hotly touted as clear favorites in their division, and almost everyone believes they will make the postseason. So being 17-0 up at halftime was a big boost.
But then the Jaguars fell apart in a similar way we were all used to seeing last season. The game ended 17-34 to the Eagles as the Jaguars suffered a complete meltdown.
Meanwhile, the Redskins didn't do much better against the Houston Texans in Week 1. They in fact outgained the Texans but their special teams failures and turnovers at vital points in the game ultimately led to their defeat.
Both teams will be looking to avoid a 0-2 start, but the Redskins with home field advantage and perhaps the slightly better team should come out on top today.
