Jamie Foxx, Katie Holmes Dating? Stars Seek Privacy

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are reportedly dating, according to multiple sources. The pair has been rumored to be together for several months, but only now are some alleging that they are together.

"Katie and Jamie have been dating for a while. They're very 'Mission: Impossible' about their romance," a source told In Touch.

The two were first spotted together during a trip to the Hamptons, where they danced to Robin Thicke's hit song "Blurred Lines" and spent a great deal of time together. However, Holmes' rep put a stop to the rumor mill and explained that the couple was just friends.

"They're not dating," the representative told New York Post's Page Six. "They've been friends for years."

Now, however, the story has changed and more sources are revealing details about how the superstars maintain their relationship and privacy. One said that the two had spent the night at the Trump Soho Hotel; the driver was fully prepared to take Foxx to the set of his new movie, "Annie," but instead of Foxx, Holmes entered the vehicle.

"A hotel employee confirmed that Katie had stayed at the hotel with Jamie and that she was taking his car. So the driver drove her home to her Chelsea apartment," the source noted.

Holmes has been famously single since separating from Tom Cruise; she has been focused on work and raising daughter Suri, who lives with her in Chelsea. The two have been photographed around New York City, attending events and spending time together when Suri is not abroad, visiting Cruise. It's unknown whether Foxx has had any interaction with Suri, but if he is dating Holmes, it could change his friendship with Cruise.

The two men have been friends for years, and Foxx once said that Cruise "changed the projection of my career. He allowed 'Collateral' to come out first, and then let 'Ray Charles' come out, so there would be [interest] for 'Ray Charles.' 'Cause if 'Ray Charles' had come out before 'Collateral,' I wouldn't have had that [buzz], so I always take my hat off [to Cruise]," he told StarPulse.
