Jana Duggar News: No, the 'Counting On' Star Is Not in a Courtship

For the longest time, fans of "Counting On" star Jana Duggar have been hoping that she will find the right man and drive off into the sunset and settle down.

Recently, reports started going around that the eldest daughter in the family has a suitor in emergency medical technician and musician Jacob Wilson after netizens spotted the two in the same photo.

Before things could get out of hand, Wilson set the record straight on Instagram, saying that he and Jana are not dating and are just friends, calling the reports "total bunk."

WE ARE NOT IN A RELATIONSHIP. Lol we've been friends for 21 years and all of a sudden! BAM! [We] just happen to be in the same picture so of course the media has to make up a story about it to sell. So I'm here to clear the water... it ain't true! [Moral] of the story? Don't believe what you see online.

Although Wilson has apparently known Jana almost his whole life (he is 23), it looks like their connection and long history does not go beyond friendship, which might come as a disappointment to some.

Many of Jana's younger sisters such as Jill Duggar and Jessa Duggar have already started their own family. Jinger just celebrated her one year wedding anniversary with husband Jeremy Vuolo.

However, Jana, who is already 27, is yet to get married. In fact, there has not been any news about courtship save for debunked reports linking her to several guys including football and baseball star Tim Tebow.

Because of this, fans started to see her as the Cinderella of the family. They blame it on what they believe is her being the stuck with taking care of her younger siblings and keeping the household together that she forgot to focus on herself and find her own happiness.

Jana has been asked quite a few times about love and marriage, admitting that she is looking forward to the day she meets the man she will marry. However, some fans believe that her responsibility at the Duggar home might be getting in the way.
