'Jane The Virgin' Season 2 Episode 20 Spoilers: The Villanuevas Celebrate Mother's Day; Will Jane Lose Virginity?

The CW's hit family drama TV series "Jane The Virgin" Season 2 returns this week with a brand new episode that will get to see everyone celebrating Mother's Day. Meanwhile, fans might be asking if Jane will really lose her virginity now that she's about to get married. Also, will the title be changed if that moment in the single mom's life takes place?

According to The Futon Critic's synopsis for "Chapter Forty-Two," the whole Villanueva family will be observing a tradition spent during Mother's Day. Jane (Gina Rodriguez) is one of the most enthused women in the group, as this would be her first time to participate.

For reasons that are yet to be known, the TFC summary however said that they might have to hold out the plan when Petra (Yael Grobglas) decides to invite everyone to a brunch. Will the Villanuevas push through with the tradition or will they let this one pass for the mother of two?

In another development, Jane's teacher's assistant job is put into jeopardy when a mysterious ad appears in the college newspaper. Meanwhile, her father, Rogelio (Jaime Camil) will feel the pain of rejection when Dina (Judy Reyes) didn't include his name to her birthday party. Interestingly, he will ask Jane to do something about it. Rafael (Justin Baldoni), on his part, will find himself caught in some big trouble brought along by his half-brother.

In related news, series executive Jennie Snyder Urman give light on one of the most intriguing aspects in the story: Jane's virgin status. In an interview with Deadline, the showrunner said that the titular character will indeed lose that prized thing when she gets married. As a consequence, there will be a big change in the title.

"When Jane gets married she'll lose her virginity, at which point we'll put a line through—it'll say Jane the Virgin and you'll see a line crossed through the Virgin. That'll be our title going forward," the EP revealed.

"Jane The Virgin" Season 2 airs Mondays, at 9 on The CW.
