'Jane the Virgin' Season 2 Plot News
The next episode of hit series "Jane the Virgin" is expected to feature a special guest star.
It was reported that pop star Britney Spears will be making an appearance in the upcoming episode of "Jane the Virgin." The recently released teaser for episode 5 showed Britney portraying herself while performing at the Marbella Hotel.
The upcoming episode will be titled "Chapter Twenty-Seven." Spear's performance made for an excited Jane, played by Gina Rodriguez, though Rogelio dela Vega (Jaime Camil), which is Jane's dad, is not too happy about it.

It was revealed that Spears was one of Rogelio's arch rivals. The trailer teaser for the episode showed Rogelio confronting Spears in her trailer before getting dragged by security. As for Jane, she was able to share a special moment with Spears when they ended up doing a "Toxic" dance-off.
Spears recently shared her sentiments about her appearance in the show. She explained that she was happy and excited to take part in the hit series.
Furthermore, it was shared that Michael, played by Brett Dier, will be having an unfortunate experience, unlike Jane. It was said that Michael will be getting in trouble after having a conflict with Rafael, played by Justin Baldoni.
The official synopsis reads, "Xo's (Andrea Navedo) past hurts Alba (Ivonne Coll), who's preparing to become a citizen. Meanwhile, Rogelio wants to confront his adversary, Britney Spears, who's staying at the Marbella Hotel; Michael's (Brett Dier) feud with Rafael (Justin Baldoni) lands him in hot water at work; and Milos makes Petra (Andrea Navedo) a tempting offer."
With that, fans will be experiencing an interesting and exciting episode.
"Jane the Virgin" is expected to air on the CW every Monday. "Chapter Twenty-Seven" is expected to air this Nov. 9.
