'Jane the Virgin' season 2 spoilers: Cast takes sides on Michael vs Rafael battle for Jane's heart

Jane just might tie the knot very soon and the cast of "Jane the Virgin" have taken sides — who is on team Rafael and who will choose to side with team Michael?

In a recent interview with TV Line, cast members of the series have vowed to stick with Michael, played by Brett Dier, against the odds.

Jaime Camil, who plays the role of Jane's father Rogelio de la Vega, said that he is definitely 100 and 50 percent joining team Michael. Ivonne Coll, who plays Alba, also said she's a fan of the Jane-Michael tandem.

What's more exciting is that Gina Rodriguez, who plays Jane, has revealed that she is actually in for it if the showrunners decide to create an amazing story line for her character and Brett's to end up together.

Andrea Navedo, on the other hand, spilled that Justin Baldoni, who plays Rafael, is quite surprised by how the entire cast of the show are patting Michael on the back rather than pushing for Rafael.

Baldoni waited for the right time to air his side on the issue during the interview and once he got the chance to talk, he said, "Good job, Michael. You're so cute and endearing. You go get Jane, Michael. You do your detective work."

Dier quickly answered back and said he is actually rooting for Rafael and Jane to tie the knot. But, the actor didn't do a good job hiding the fact that he was joking since Baldoni was right behind him when he gave his comment.

Other spoilers suggest that season 2 will not only reveal which man Jane will choose to be with her forever but the upcoming season will also create a whole new character in Jane as the single mom gives it her all to be the best mom to her son Mateo.

Season 1 showed Sin Rostro kidnapping baby Mateo just a few hours after he was delivered. And to give fans a good beginning, executive producer Jennie Urman said the production has decided to reunite mother and son in season 2.

"Jane the Virgin" season 2 will premiere on The CW on Monday, Oct. 12.
