'Jane the Virgin' Season 3 Episode 14 Spoilers: Rafael Caught In-Between Warring Jane and Petra

Rafael (Justin Baldoni) will find himself in-between two warring women in the upcoming episode of "Jane the Virgin."

In the episode titled "Chapter Fifty-Eight," the synopsis (according to TV Guide) reveals that Rafael will try to support both Petra (Yael Grobglas) and Jane (Gina Rodriguez) in the election for Room Mom. Both women are running for the position and the race is expected to be messy. Petra is the clear frontrunner, but Jane is a dark horse. Either of them may win, especially now that Jane has proven she is not the uncouth Latina the other mothers have been gossiping about.

Petra and her spotless record would have won hands down if Jane had not reached out to the school director. Previously, she went to Mateo's (Madison Rojas) school because his teacher was complaining about his behavior. Jane heard from Petra that the other parents think she does not pay attention to her son, hence he is misbehaving. Meanwhile, Petra's twin daughters are the epitome of grace and good conduct. The promo shows that Jane and Petra will face off in a heated debate. They are both talking about their plans if they will be elected as Room Mom.

Rafael will likely be stressed out, helping Jane and Petra at the same time. It is not going to be an easy task, considering how explosive the fights between the two women can be.

Elsewhere, Mateo will be asked by his grandfather to do something for him. Rogelio (Jaime Camil) wants the boy to spy on Xo (Andrea Navedo) and her boyfriend Bruce (Ricardo Chavira). It looks like Jane's father is planning something to win back his former ladylove. He wants to get more information before he makes his move.

"Jane the Virgin" season 3 episode 14 will air Monday, March 20 at 9 p.m. EDT on the CW.
