'Jane the Virgin' Season 4 Episode 5 Spoilers: Jane Causes Problems Between Lina and Fiancé

Jane (Gina Rodriguez) is convinced her best friend Lina (guest star Diane Guerrero) is committing the biggest mistake of her life in the upcoming episode of "Jane the Virgin."

In the episode titled "Chapter Sixty-Nine," the synopsis reveals that Lina is getting married and she wants Jane's opinion about this new milestone in her life. She wants her best friend to share her honest opinion of her fiancé. Unfortunately for Jane, she will not be able to stop herself from disliking the man. Lina's future groom looks Asian and quite presentable, but he also appears to be overbearing.

The promo shows Jane watching how the engaged couple interact. Later on, Lina pulls her aside and asks her about what she thinks. Jane's expression says it all. Years of friendship warns Lina that her bestie does not approve of her fiancé. The only question left is if Lina will call off the wedding after their heart to heart talk.

Elsewhere, things will get shaky between Jane and Adam (guest star Tyler Posy). Adam will reportedly share his dating past with his girlfriend. The information is said to be a little too much for Jane to take in, and this will put a strain on their relationship.

This would pose problems as Adam has been doing so well in his quest to win the lady's heart. He already met Mateo (Joseph Sanders), and, not counting that hilarious moment when the boy punched him in the face, they get along fine together. Jane's family also likes Adam, which is a huge plus for him.

Elsewhere, Xo (Andrea Navedo) and Rogelio (Jaime Camil) will discuss a medical procedure involving him. Rogelio, however, does not seem okay with the matter. Based on the hints, it may have something to do with sexual life.

"Jane the Virgin" season 4 airs Fridays, at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
