Janet Jackson Focuses on Fitness After Messy Divorce With Wissam Al Mana

Janet Jackson is focusing on getting more fit after her split with Wissam Al Mana.

Jackson, 51, is reportedly determined to lose her baby weight for her only son, Eissa. While many believe the singer dropped the pounds to have a revenge body, Jackson insists her efforts to slim down is for her baby.

Citing a source close to Jackson, Us Weekly reported that the "Rhythm Nation" songstress was focused on "having a healthy child" back when she was still pregnant. Eight months after giving birth, Jackson has shifted her focus to her own fitness.

"Now that Eissa is here, she wants to make sure she's in the best shape to take care of her son. She knows she was at an unhealthy weight before," the insider said. "She looks great and feels even better!"

Aside from performing on her worldwide State of the World tour that runs until December, Jackson consumes a clean diet of lean protein. It appears her hard work is already paying off since she has already lost 70 pounds since January of this year.

Meanwhile, Jackson has been spotted out and about in West Hollywood Wednesday. She gently cradled her baby while going out for lunch at an upscale eatery, The Ivy. Surrounded by her entourage, she appeared stunning in her high topknot hair and makeup.

Earlier this week, new details about Jackson's messy legal battle with Al Mana have been revealed. Jackson's brother Randy claimed that the Dubai-based business magnate called his former wife "b**ch" every day while she was expecting. "It came on later in the relationship, verbal abuse and being [made to feel like] a prisoner in her own home," Randy added.

The pop diva has been breaking down into tears backstage during her world tour as well because "the abuse is still going on." Al Mana allegedly kept on harassing Jackson since their custody battle over Eissa began.
