Janet Jackson, Jermaine Dupri Spotted Together After Singer's 'State of the World' Tour
Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri are reportedly "hanging out" again.
The "Rhythm Nation" singer and her music producer ex have been spending some time together lately, according to PEOPLE magazine. After wrapping up her "State of the World" tour on Dec. 17, Jackson was spotted heading to her exclusive party at STK restaurant.
A source confirmed that during the celebration, the pop diva spent some private time with Dupri. "They were in a private area at her exclusive tour wrap party," said the insider, adding the twosome "were cuddled up in a private booth holding hands."
Jackson and Dupri dated for seven years until their split in 2009. Last month, a different insider revealed to E! News that they began reconnecting after the mother of one's split from Qatari business magnate Wissam Al Mana. Based on the new reports, it seems the former lovers are giving their relationship another chance.
"They are friends before anything so they are just seeing what happens on the romantic side," explained the insider. While Jackson may be rekindling her romance with Dupri, the source stressed that her baby remains her top priority.
Another source, on the other hand, told Entertainment Tonight that Jackson and Dupri are not an item. They have stayed close friends despite their breakup, so it's not unusual for them to get extra close during outings.
Earlier this month, the media outlet reported that Jackson will be spending the holidays in England, where Al Mana is based. The estranged couple have allegedly agreed to meet so 11-month-old Eissa could be with his father.
Since Al Mana allowed Jackson to take their son on tour, he now wants him back home for the upcoming holidays. There is a possibility that he will stay there longer to be with Al Mana.
