Janet Jackson's Marriage With Ex-Husband Wissam Al Mana Filled With Abuse, Singer's Brother Randy Claims

New details about Janet Jackson's split from Wissam Al Mana have started to emerge.

Jackson's older brother Steven Randall "Randy" Jackson recently opened up about the singer's divorce, revealing more information about the estranged couple's troubled relationship. Speaking with PEOPLE, Randy said his sister suffered from "verbal abuse" while she was still with London-based Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana.

"Enough is enough," the former Jackson 5 member stated. "There's a lot of pain. Janet's been through a lot with her divorce. I've been through a lot, we all have."

Jackson's divorce and custody battle with Al Mana is still ongoing. Randy, who has attended multiple court proceedings with his sister, said Jackson's union with her ex was not the picture of wedded bliss.

"It came on later in the relationship, verbal abuse and being (made to feel like) a prisoner in her own home." Randy added. "No pregnant woman needs to go through being called a (expletive) every day."

Jackson and Al Mana tied the knot in 2012. They welcomed their first child, Eissa, in January of this year. Jackson announced their legal separation through a video shared via Twitter in May.

Al Mana's attorney slammed Randy for his comments, noting that the business magnate has no intention of responding to his "deeply hurtful allegations." The lawyer also revealed that the privacy and well-being of Eissa remains his client's sole priority.

Jackson has recently begun her State of the World concert tour. Despite her failed marriage with Al Mana, Jackson reportedly does not regret their relationship because it brought them their son. While Jackson has yet to open up about the divorce, an insider claims the pop icon is "happy" with how things are going in her life and is open to dating again in the future.
