Jean-Claude Van Damme Reveals Affair With Kylie Minogue

Jean-Claude Van Damme, the longtime action movie actor, revealed that while he was making a movie in the early 1990s he had an affair with his co-star pop-star Kylie Minogue.

Van Damme was promoting his new movie the "Expendables 2" when the action hero started talking about some of the films he had enjoyed working on when he made the sudden comment that he had had an affair during shooting of the film "Street Fighter" in the early 90s.

"I tell you what, you should ask her. She'll have a better memory," Van Damme told The Guardian during an interview.

"I'm 51 years old, do you know how much I was punched in the face on The Expendables? No, no. No. And let's just say it happened, so what? Who wants to know? OK. Yes, yes, yes. It happened. I was in Thailand, we had an affair," the actor added.

Van Damme then went on to explain that it would have been hard for him not to have an affair given his co-star was so beautiful.

"Sweet kiss, beautiful lovemaking … It would be abnormal not to have had an affair, she's so beautiful and she was there in front of me every day with a beautiful smile, simpatico, so charming, she wasn't acting like a big star … She's a great lady," he reminisced.

Van Damme has had plenty of experience with marriages as he has had four of them, twice marrying the same person, but it is unclear if he was actually married during his time spent with Minogue. The action star married Gladys Portugues, but the couple split in 1992 and Van Damme did not marry his second wife, Darcy LaPier, until 1994.

The action film adaptation of the popular video game was released in 1994, but it's unclear when exactly it was shot.
