Jenelle Evans Drugs Were Hers Says Courtland Rogers Before Court Date
Courtland Rogers, Jenelle Evans' husband, is still behind bars after being arrested in April because drugs were found at the couple's home. However, sources claim that Rogers is going to say the drugs belonged to his wife.
Both Rogers and Evans were arrested on April 23 in his mother's North Carolina home for possession of heroin and assault after police were called after a domestic dispute.
Courtland, who has been unable to come up with the $80,000 bail he needs to secure his release, is said to be fully prepared for his court date and has a strong defense.
"Courtland is planning to make sure his lawyer and the judge know that the drugs in the house were not his, they belonged to Jenelle," a source told Radar Online.
"Jenelle is the one who brought the drugs into the house, she even had a rhinestone pipe that she was smoking out of," the source revealed.
The couple has had a tumultuous relationship ever since getting together last year. They married days after announcing an engagement, and on their wedding day, Rogers had to report to court for other charges. Then Evans announced she was pregnant but later suffered a miscarriage and filed for separation from Rogers.
During their time apart, Rogers alleged that Evans had begun using heroin again and had even used during her pregnancy. The two later reconciled and had been doing fine until these latest charges.
The arrest comes at an ironic time for Evans, whose drug use was featured on "Teen Mom 2" Tuesday night. She and then-boyfriend Kieffer Delp decided to use drugs in order to make themselves feel better about their respective life situations.
