Jenners on Runway: Kendall and Kylie Are 'Growing Up'

As Kim and Kourtney Kardashian leave the fashion world to take on motherhood, two new sisters have taken the runway. Kyle and Kendall were the stars at New York Fashion week Wednesday night.

Kim Kardashian's half-sister Kylie was busy raising money for charity on Wednesday night while modeling in the Red Dress Fashion Show. Kylie walked the runway in support of heart disease prevention. She was joined by her sister, Kendall, and the girls' mother, Kris, who also participated in the show. Kris Jenner walked down the runway wearing a red Badgley Mischka gown.

In a recent interview, Kylie admitted the she and Kendall were tired of being perceived as little girls just because the Kardashian reality show began when they were much younger.

"I'm not saying that I'm an adult, I'm not saying that I'm old, I'm not saying that I'm better than that, but I am saying that people need to realize that Kylie and I are growing up," she told Us Weekly. "We are starting to do our own thing and becoming older, mature women. We're not little kids anymore."

Kylie, apparently eager to take after her older sister Kim, also elaborated by saying that she was tired of people responding negatively to her Twitter photos when she is old enough to pose however she likes.

"And every time we'll post something on Instagram or we'll tweet something and they'll be like 'you're so young, stop it!' And yeah, I'm young, but I'm not naïve," she insisted.

But "haters" aside, Kylie says she won't be letting any of that criticism get to her.

"I just can't let it get to me anymore," Kendall told Us Magazine earlier this week. "It'll stop me from doing so many things, so many things that I want to do, and that's not how to live your life."
