Jennifer Aniston Gains Extra Pounds, Blames Fiance Justin Theroux: 'He Cooks Pastas Amazingly'

Jennifer Aniston recently opened up about gaining weight due to her fiance Justin Theroux's "amazing" cooking.

The former "Friends" actress, 45, began dating Theroux, 42, in 2011 and while she has gained a few pounds since then, she has no regrets. The couple got engaged in 2012 and they are said to be planning their wedding.

"[He] cooks pastas amazingly ... Like, hello! Carbonara. It's a killer," Aniston told People magazine.

"The last couple of years since meeting this man have made me gain a couple extra pounds. But it's all worth it," she continued. "It catches up to you, and you take care of it ... But it's still fun. It was all in the name of love."

The Hollywood actress revealed that she stays in shape by maintaining a regular exercise regime.

"I get up and allow 40 minutes to work out," she told Self magazine. "Cross training with sit-ups, running weights."

The bride-to-be was reportedly spotted shopping for a wedding gown in Manhattan recently, which sparked reports of a set wedding date. Insiders claim Aniston was at popular bridal store Kleinfeld in recent weeks where staff presented her with various options.

"She didn't try on any dresses herself, she sat down with a dress consultant who brought out a few dozen," a source told Heat magazine U.K. "She sipped her glass of wine, joking that she had done a juice cleanse the week before and had a lower tolerance than usual."

In February, Aniston was spotted celebrating her birthday and Valentine's day without Theroux, which raised doubts about their engagement, however, the actress explained that they are simply taking their time to ensure that their big day is not rushed.

"We just want to do it when it's perfect, and we're not rushed, and no one is rushing from a job or rushing to a job ... And, you know, we already feel married," Aniston previously told the Associated Press about getting married.

"There have been no canceled weddings. There have been no postponed weddings. There have been no arguments about where to get married. Just clearing all that up," she added.
