Jeremy Lin News: Coach Commends Christian NBA Star for Performance

Much talk has been involving Jeremy Lin and his move to the Charlotte Hornets earlier this year after a short stint with the Los Angeles Lakers but it seems the "undrafted" NBA star has made the right choice.

Despite getting a huge setback when he signed in with the Hornets for a $4.37 million contract compared to his $25 million deal with the Houston Rockets in 2012, the "Linsanity" star has just started to make it clear that he will keep improving, given that the team allows for his gameplay.

In a recent talk with The Charlotte Observer, coach Steve Clifford admitted that Lin had much to do with the team's win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday. "I kept looking in the fourth quarter (for a way to reinsert Lamb) but Jeremy Lin was really the one who did the best job on Kevin Martin," he said of Lin's defensive strategies.

While Lin's former coaches Byron Scott and Kevin McHale slammed him for his poor performance both in the offensive and defensive mode, many of his fans believe that he wasn't given the chance to grow, thus resulting to the poor play.

Clifford knows that Lin's performance has helped the team win the last four games and he wouldn't want to make any switches or keep some of his players who are clearly making the right swings.

Meanwhile, Wednesday's game against the New York Knicks has once again proven that Lin is a talented player. NBA Online says he was able to get in 17 points, three assists, and three steals, helping his team finish off with a 95-93 win over one of the teams he has played with.

The New York Post also captured one of the most spectacular moments of the evening's game as Lin moved to greet his former teammate and one of the players pitted against him after his team's win. Lin and Carmelo Anthony are seen completing a handshake, as if to stomp on all the ashes left of the rivalry between them in the past.

Lin will join his team tomorrow, 9 a.m., at the United Center of Chicago, Illinois, in a game against the Chicago Bulls.
