But the on court official was at the center of some controversy; one call was made after Lin blocked Isaiah Thomas and pinned a foul on Cody Zeller. The other one happened after the Hornets pulled things back to one point. Instead of calling for traveling or a jump ball after a great trap, the play continued on, allowing the Celtics to draw a foul and win the game from the line. Nonetheless, Lin's gameplay proved how much of a valuable player he is becoming to his team.

In other news, not only is Lin making headlines for his skills but also for his choice of hairstyle. According to SB Nation, Lin caught the attention of the crowd with his new do while playing on court. GQ detailed that there's no official name for his hairstyle yet but it's somewhere between a man bun, a ponytail, topknot, and undercut.

Apparently, the one responsible for it is no hairstylist. Lin revealed that he lets Spencer Hawes pick how his hair is styled. And since Lin doesn't really care that much, they just have fun with it.
