'Jessica Jones' Cast News: Character Posters Revealed
More news about the newest Netflix series "Jessica Jones" have been revealed.
With the series expected to release in less than a month, more teasers for "Jessica Jones" have been released by Netflix. Fans were able to see photos of many main characters from the show. With that, it was reported that David Tennant will be taking on the role of Zebediah Killgrave.
Killgrave will be Jessica's villain in the upcoming series, also known as the Purple Man. His character is known to control other people's minds. It was reported that even Jessica, played by Krysten Ritter, was a victim to his power.
The series is expected to showcase Jessica's life after the unfortunate time she spent under the control of the Purple Man, as well as after leaving her life as a superhero. She will be seen in the series starting a business that focuses on private investigation.
Avid comic book fans would know that the series has kept some important characteristics of Jessica, such as her appearance. Ritter's character was seen in ripped jeans and flannel. However, even though she is trying to move on, it is evident that action and drama will continue following Jessica.
In addition, fans were also able to see Rachael Taylor's character for the series. She will be taking on the role of Trisha Walker, who is also known as Patsy. The series portrays the character as a radio DJ. However, she is still expected to take on some action scenes in the upcoming series. It was reported that the series will develop her character to become the superhero called "Hellcat."
Another major character that will be featured in the series is Luge Cage, played by Mike Colter. While there were not many photos of him released, it was revealed that he will be receiving his own series in the future.
"Jessica Jones" is expected to premiere on Netflix this Nov. 20.
