'Jessica Jones' Plot Spoilers: Hints from Trailer Revealed

With only a month away until the debut of the new Netflix series "Jessica Jones," fans have been trying to figure out just what the season will hold, based on the released trailers.

According to Movie Pilot, several hints can be taken away from the main trailer of the new series. It was stated that the Stark Tower was shown at the end of the trailer, which means that the story of "Jessica Jones" will somehow link to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as well as the other Marvel series on Netflix such as "Daredevil."

Another prominent theme of the trailer was the use of the color purple. With that, it was assumed that the Purple Man will be very involved in the upcoming episodes. The character of the Purple Man is a notorious villain in the Marvel Universe. He has the capability of manipulating people. With that, he will be using his mind control in order to abuse women. Purple Man will be played by David Tennant.

It was revealed that he had controlled Jessica and abused her for eight months, which is why he is the focus of the series. They had met after she developed her superhero identity, Jewel, who had super strength and the ability to fly. Her encounter with the Purple Man caused her much chaos and problems with drugs and alcohol. Therefore, she will do what she can to get revenge for what the Purple Man has done to her.

Aside from the two characters, it was reported that several other characters will be making appearances in the series. Luke Cage, who is Jessica's best friend, will be seen fighting in the series. There are rumors that Matt Murdock from "Daredevil" will also make an appearance in the series.

"Jessica Jones" will premiere on Nov. 20 on Netflix.
