Jessica Simpson Reveals Post-Baby Weight Loss; Making New Music?
Jessica Simpson wowed onlookers on Tuesday when she stepped out for a night out in Los Angeles, nearly three months after giving birth to her second child.
The fashion mogul, 33, looked happy and healthy while leaving the Sagebrush Cantina in Calabasas, Calif. with fiance Eric Johnson and 16-month-old daughter Maxwell by her side. Shortly before the family outing Simpson, who opted to wear head-to-toe black, posed for a photo with her best friends Cacee Cobb and Stephanie Terblanche.

"Mom's day out!" Simpson tweeted in the photo caption.
On June 30 Simpson and Johnson, 34, welcomed the birth of their son Ace Knute however the Weight Watchers ambassador appears to have already shed her baby weight. After tipping the scales at 210 pounds during the peak of her first pregnancy, Simpson reportedly adopted a more health eating plan during her second pregnancy which enabled her to maintain her appearance.
"She thinks about what she puts in her body now. She's not starving herself, but she's eating sensibly," a friend of Simpson's previously told In Touch magazine.
The mother of two reportedly made drastic changes to her diet during her second pregnancy including swapping high-fat foods for low-calorie meals such as green eggs (eggs and spinach) for breakfast, which is said to be the singer's "new favorite." She also kept active throughout her pregnancy in order to ease her post-baby weight loss.
"She loves it," the friend said before revealing that Simpson regularly works out with celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak.
"[She] just likes feeling good and when she exercises regularly, she feels great," the insider explained.
Following Simpson's outing in Calabasas, the singer left fans guessing on Twitter when she expressed her desire to create new music. Simpson rose to stardom as a teenager in 1999 with the debut of her hit song "I Wanna Love You Forever" however she has not released an album since 2010.
"I need to make music," Simpson tweeted to her six million followers.
Simpson and Johnson, who is a former NFL star, got engaged in 2010 and reports claim they are expected to wed in 2014.
