Jimmy Kimmel Pranked at Wedding by Gabourey Sidibe; 'Precious' Actress Arrives in Wedding Dress

Television host Jimmy Kimmel was pranked on Saturday during his high profile wedding to his longtime girlfriend Molly McNearney.

Gabourey Sidibe, who is best known for her leading role in the 2009 film "Precious," was among a number of star-studded guests who attended the ceremony which was held in Ojai, California. The actress, who showed up in a white wedding dress as part of a humorous prank on Kimmel, had guests in fits of laughter as she was greeted by the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" host, according to MailOnline.

The 30-year-old award-winning actress eventually changed into more appropriate attire after getting a few laughs out of wedding guests as well as the bride and groom.

Fans flocked to social networking sites to weigh in on Sidibe's prank. Many hailed the actress for her sense of humor.

"Oh man wish I was there. Too funny! I hope Molly found this funny though. Gabby kindda stole her thunder LOL #jimmykimmel," Rose tweeted.

"Gabby Sidibe rocked up to Jimmy Kimmel's wedding in a white wedding dress and he laughed it off. I love it! Hilarious," Paul tweeted.

"Best.prank.ever! Gabby is so funny! Rocking up to Kimmel's wedding in a wedding dress hahaha, I bet he freaked," Sally tweeted.

Kimmel, 45, reportedly first began dating McNearney, 35, in 2009 and the pair got engaged in August 2012 while on vacation at the Kruger National Park in South Africa.

The bride, who is a co-head writer for Kimmel's popular show, wore a strapless white gown with sweetheart neckline, and Kimmel opted for a traditional black and white tuxedo with bow tie.
McNearney's bridesmaids wore baby pink floor-length gowns, while the groomsmen dresses in matching black-and-white suits.

Guests, which included Jennifer Aniston, Ben Affleck and Ellen DeGeneres, were advised to make a charitable donation in lieu of wedding gifts ahead of the couple's nuptials.
