Duggars Family '19 Kids and Counting' News: Jinger Duggar 21st Birthday, Family Post Birthday Greetings
Jinger Duggar has just turned 21, and the "19 Kids and Counting" star celebrated her birthday on Sunday as her family took to social media to wish her well on her special day.
The family's Facebook post read, "Today, Dec. 21st is Jinger's 21st birthday. We are so thankful for her love for Jesus and her sweet personality. She is precious to us in every way!"
The post was accompanied by a picture of Jinger posing beside Duggar matriarch Michelle, and the birthday girl looked very stylish in a black beret, white jacket, and striped skirt while holding up a sign that says "Happy 21st Birthday Jinger, We love you!"
Jim Bob and Michelle also took to Twitter to post a picture of Jinger when she was just a little girl. The photo was captioned, "Cute little Jinger! Such a beautiful young lady—inside and out!"
Newly married to her husband Ben Seewald, the 22-year old Jessa shared a photo of her sister on Instagram and wrote, "Happy golden birthday to my sweet sister Jinger! I love you so much!"
Though Jinger is now of legal age to drink alcohol, it's a sure thing that the Duggars celebrated without a drop of alcohol in sight because in accordance to the Duggar's beliefs, they do not consume any alcoholic beverages.
Jinger's older sisters, Jessa and Jill told Us Weekly earlier this year that they accidentally drank spiked punch at a gathering and said that it was "disgusting."
"We've never like intentionally been to a party where we know there's going to be a lot of drinking," said Jill to Cosmopolitan. "I've been on the fire department for years, and there's people, young people, 18-year old girls who have died of an OD. You see the effects, and it really makes you stop and think of the consequences for some of these actions."
