John Cena Returns from His Hiatus
Even though John Cena just recently announced that he will be taking a vacation, there has already been rumors regarding his return to the battle.
It was reported that Brock Lesnar and John Cena are going head-to-head next month in Los Angeles, California.
According to WhatCulture, Lesnar is currently under a contract that includes a house show at the Forum, located in LA. It was reported that his contract requires him to do several special house shows. With that, there are also speculations that this special is actually part of the network.
There are reports explaining that the advertisement of Lesnar and Cena's fight is part of WWE Network's special, similar to his appearances at the Madison Square Garden and Tokyo. These appearances were marked the most watched non-PPV show in the Network.
It was said that the choice for The Forum as the venue will serve a large market to the WWE. With that, fans will also be anticipating the early return of Cena. He recently decided to take a hiatus after his loss against Alberto Del Rio during the WWE Hell In A Cell.
It was reported that he originally was to return this Dec. 26 in New York, at a house show. However, there are rumors that he will be making an appearance in Massachusetts earlier than expected this Dec. 13. There are reports stating that Cena will be battling Alberto Del Rio, making it his first fight for his return. This is very likely since Massachusetts is both the hometown of Del Rio and Cena.
However, there has yet to be official news on Lesnar and Cena's upcoming fight. In addition, it was reported that he will be going against Sheamus for the Dec. 26 show in New York. There are also reports that this will begin the holiday tour.
