John Noble Sleeping Disorder Closes Down Production on 'Fringe'
John Noble has caused production on Fox's science fiction drama "Fringe" to be halted for two weeks as he is suffering from a sleeping disorder.
The news was announced earlier this week, and the delay in production will be implemented to that Noble can seek treatment for his condition. Just this week it was found that 63 year old Noble was found to be suffering from a sleeping disorder putting production of "Fringe" into jeopardy. Noble is an important part of the cast of the show, he plays Dr. Walter Bishop, and it was felt that such was the importance of his role that filming should close down temporarily.
It is expected that filming can recommence on August 7, and the delay is not expected to have any affect on the series' premiere date, which is scheduled for September 28.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the fifth and supposedly final season of the hit science fiction drama show. Fox pleased fans by renewing the show for a 13-episode season so that plot lines and character developments could be tied up neatly for ardent fans.
Kevin Reilly, President of Entertainment for Fox Broadcasting, announced the renewal of the program previously by saying, "'Fringe' is a remarkably creative series that has set the bar as one of television's most imaginative dramas. Bringing it back for a final 13 allows us to provide the climactic conclusion that its passionate and loyal fans deserve."
