Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell Tie the Knot After Almost 4-Month Engagement

Joseph "Joe" Duggar and Kendra Caldwell are now married.

The reality star and his 19-year-old bride tied the knot at the First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, on Friday. Speaking with PEOPLE, Joe expressed his happiness now that they are husband and wife.

"It's something that I've always dreamed of to have a wife and to raise a family in a way that honors the lord," he said. "We are to very excited to see what God has in the future for us."

TLC notes Kendra wore a jeweled top with matching princess skirt for her special day. Additionally, the pair chose blush and navy colors for the wedding's "classic and romantic decor." The ceremony was officiated by Kendra's father, Pastor Paul Caldwell.

Like most members of the Duggar clan, the pair had their first kiss at their wedding. "You always have expectations of the first kiss but it blew all those expectations away," Joe shared. "It was amazing."

Kendra and Joe had 22 bridesmaids and groomsmen in total. The list includes Kendra's sister and mother, alongside Joe's many brothers and sisters. A day before the event, a rehearsal dinner was held at the couple's church. They feasted on Mexican dishes with ice cream, cupcakes and salty treats.

Joe proposed to Kendra during his sister Joy-Anna Duggar's wedding last May. He was only courting for a few months when he decided to pop the question. Joe was just 13 when his family was introduced in the reality show, "19 Kids and Counting," back in 2008. He is the sixth Duggar child to be married.

"Counting On" returns with new episodes tonight at 9 p.m. EDT on TLC. An early look at their wedding ceremony will be aired on TLC GO on Monday, Sept. 18. The network will also release a one-hour look at their big day sometime next month.
