Josh Duggar News: TV Personality Spotted at Church, Looking 'Gloomy' at Mother's Day Celebration
For the first time after his numerous scandals, Josh Duggar was captured on cam.
On Wednesday, news and photos of Josh Duggar emerged after he was spotted and captured on cam for the first time with his family at church, and later on at a college in Florida where the famous Duggars celebrated Mother's Day.
In pictures posted by The Daily Mail, the 28-year-old reality TV star seemed happy as he held on to his son, Marcus. Jessa and Ben Seewald, as well as his sisters Jinger and Joy Anna, were seen attending the church with Josh. Elders Jim Bob and Michelle were present too.
Though the images showed a happy Josh, many fans noticed that he lost weight. The photos are the first that emerged where he is seen spending time with the Duggar clan ever since he left a faith-based rehabilitation facility earlier this year. Though some reports earlier in the year suggested that he had been stepping out in public with some of his relatives ever since his rehab stint, the images have proven that he is definitely back with his family.
However, In Touch obtained a few more pictures showing what appears to be a "gloomy" Josh after church ended and the family graced a Mother's Day celebration at the Pensacola Christian College in Florida.
The source who provided the pictures to the outlet explained that the Duggar clan always drop by the area and seeing them around wasn't all too surprising. However, while the rest of the family seemed to enjoy the festivity, Josh was busy with his phone.
"Only Josh seemed not to be having a good time," the insider said, adding that Anna's back was against the camera but she was smiling whenever she looked around. "She [Anna] looked very much at ease," the source said.
Michelle was also reportedly "beaming" as the family enjoyed their meals, "But while everyone was clearly at ease, Josh kept that phone up to his ear. He definitely did not seem to be having fun," the source added.
It seems Josh is still not used to people looking at him despite the time passed after the scandals he was involved in last year were highly publicized. "It seemed like Josh was the gloomiest guy there. He is going to need to get used to being spotted," the onlooker commented.
In July of last year, TLC canceled "19 Kids and Counting," after Josh confessed to inappropriately touching five young girls as a teen, including his sisters Jill and Jessa. Another scandal followed as he admitted to cheating on his wife and porn addiction. An email acquainted to him was also found in the list of hacked Ashley-Madison accounts.
