'Jurassic World 2' News, Spoilers: Bryce Dallas Howard Shares What's Next for Her Character
"Jurassic World" actress Bryce Dallas Howard recently had a chat with E! Online, and she revealed what's next for her character, Claire.
According to the actress, Claire is a different person now. "The person she is at the end of the [first] movie is not the person she was in the beginning. Her armor of sorts was that white, pristine outfit with heels in a very corporate environment and stuff, and the chick at the end –- totally different," Howard explained on the video.
It was obvious on the video that Howard is excited to know more about her role, since not a lot of news about the plot details are confirmed. She admits to harassing the movie's screenwriters, Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly, every time she bumps into them to spill more details about her role. "They've told me some stuff and I'm so excited," the actress simply said. Fans can't help but wonder what more Claire can bring in the upcoming sequel of "Jurassic World."
Meanwhile, according to IMDB, cast rumors say that Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum might return to "Jurassic World 2" to reprise their roles as Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, and Ian Malcolm, respectively. On the other hand, plot rumors say that movie-goers will see the characters in a different setting, since Trevorrow teased that the movie will probably be set some place else other than an island.
During his interview with Wired UK, Trevorrow, who directed the first movie, said the story will get old too fast if they continue to show the same setting. "[It will not be] just a bunch of dinosaurs chasing people on an island," he said. "I feel like the idea that this isn't always going to be limited to theme parks, and there are applications for this science that reach far beyond entertainment," he added.
The premiere of "Jurassic World 2" is scheduled to be released on July 22, 2018 in cinemas worldwide.
