'Just Because!' Episode 4 Spoilers: Eita's High School Life to Get Even More Complicated as the Third Semester Begins?
What was supposed to have been an uneventful third semester in his last year in high school seems to continue growing into a rather complicated affair for the transfer student Eita Izumi on the Japanese slice-of-life anime series, "Just Because!"
After a Christmas Eve group date at the aquarium, things seem to be taking a more conflicted turn for Eita, especially with the second year student Ena Komiya joining the mix.
In a bid to keep the Photography Club going, Ena endeavors to join and subsequently win a competition. And the priced photo she hopes to submit is the one she took of Eita and Haruto Soma that one afternoon at the baseball field.

However, since he didn't want any more complication in his life, add to this his desire to not stand out in his last few months in high school, Eita initially refused to have anything to do with Ena and even refused to give his permission for her to use his photo.
On the other hand, his middle school classmate, Mio Natsume, has also just complicated her own life when she agreed to help Haruto, the guy she secretly admired, get over his issues with dogs in order to get closer to Hazuki Morikawa, the girl he secretly liked.
There are only a few months left in high school, which is just as much time for this complicated web of secret admirations to either find fulfillment or proper closure. Will Eita and his friends be able to voice out their true feelings before the school year ends, or will their affections be further hidden in favor of more pressing issues that are about to arise?
