'Justice League' Movie News: 'Batman' Solo Movie To Get 'Justice League' Showing Date?

The fans' reactions to the latest trailer of the "Batman v Superman:Dawn of Justice" have reportedly sent chills to the people behind the 2017 "Justice League" movie, prompting them to consider moving the already announced showing date to a later time. Instead of showing the movie featuring the biggest ensemble of DC superhero characters, DC is reportedly fielding a standalone movie of Batman, according to Movie News Guide.

This rumored would-be move of DC was supposedly spurred by the fans' reactions to the opening scene of the latest "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer wherein Batman can be seen giving the bad guys a good fight sans the presence of supernatural powers and only counting on his human skills and strength and ingenious armor and weapons. Despite the audience going gaga over the scenes, it turned out that it sent a different message to the people from DC and Warner Bros.

While the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie is supposed to serve as the launch pad of future movie incarnations of characters from the DC Extended Universe, this may not be the case anymore as rumors have it that the "Justice League" movie scheduled for a 2017 release will be pushed backward. Drew McWeeny of Hitfix opined that based on what he had been hearing, fans excitedly waiting for the "Justice League" movie may wait a little longer as a standalone movie of Batman may take its showing date.

With the fans expressing their fascination for Batman based on the last trailer of the "Batman v Superman:Dawn of Justice" movie, rumors have it that Warner Bros and DC are now thinking that releasing Justice League as scheduled may not be a wise decision after all.

Meanwhile, it is also reported that Warner Bros and DC are expecting the Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill starrer to hit the $ 1 billion mark for it to be marked successful. As Warner Bros and DC are crying for the moon with this target, fans can only wonder how the box-office performance of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will affect the other DC movies in the can, such "Justice League," "Wonder Woman," and "Suicide Squad" to name a few.
