'Justice League' News, Release Date: Fandango Now Pre-selling Tickets for the Film

Warner Bros. is now officially preselling tickets for "Justice League." The announcement came shortly after the studio confirmed the final runtime of the upcoming film earlier this week. According to Warner Bros., the purpose of opening the preselling lines this early is to allow fans to secure their opening weekend passes ahead of the film's release next month.

Tickets for the upcoming film are already available for purchase online in Fandango. The ticket presale is consistent with the studio's previous announcement that "Justice League" tickets might go on sale near the end of October.

Currently, all is reportedly well when it comes to the film's tracking, with film critics expecting it to earn at least $150 million domestically on its opening weekend. Due to its extremely huge following, new reports suggest that the high demand for "Justice League" tickets has already been causing the Fandango website to crash. According to reports, word spread fast about the ticket pre-sale that fans immediately flocked to the ticketing site to make a purchase.

Crashing issues is not new to ticketing websites like Fandango. It can be recalled that when the site started pre-selling tickets for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," it also crashed due to the number of people trying to purchase their tickets for the movie.

However, a spokesperson from Fandango recently stated that their site did not crash due to the "Justice League" ticket pre-sale. Apparently, the current crash happened because they were conducting some "brief scheduled maintenance" on the site. At any rate, it looks like fans will have to wait until the Fandango site gets fixed before they can finally get hold of their "Justice League" tickets.

The upcoming film will follow the DC Extended Universe's mightiest superheroes — Batman (Ben Affleck), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Flash (Ezra Miller), and Aquaman (Jason Momoa) — as they band together in fighting a new threat.

The anticipated superhero film hits theaters on Nov. 17.
