'Justice League' News, Release Date: New Concept Art Offers Full-Body Glimpse of the Flash's Costume
New "Justice League" concept art has recently emerged and features the intricate details of the Flash's suit for the first time. The new artwork was shared several days ago by French entertainment museum Art Ludique via Twitter.
The image gave fans a full-body glimpse of Barry Allen's homemade superhero suit and was designed and illustrated by Michael Wilkinson and Ian Joyner, respectively. While the actual suit of the Flash looks a lot like the one featured in the image, the piece of art shared by Art Ludique Le Musee seems quite more fitted in contrast to the real outfit.
The suit shown in the concept art is almost the same as the costume that fans have seen worn by the Flash in all of the film's marketing materials. However, in the upcoming movie, Barry will wear a different outfit designed by Wayne Tech, which heavily resembles the Flash's suit in the original comics.
One significant difference that fans might notice between the Flash's costume in the live-action adaptation and the one from the comics is the Flash ring. While the suit is stored inside this ring in the original comics, the people behind the upcoming film has reportedly decided to omit this feature from the movie because it does not translate well into live-action.
Currently, Art Ludique is staging an exhibit titled "The Art of DC—Dawn of the Super Heroes," which highlights the superheroes from the DC comics and their film and TV adaptations. This exhibit will run until January next year and will also display some memorabilia.
Meanwhile, "Justice League" will be premiering on Nov. 17 in U.S. movie theaters and will star Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash and Ray Fisher as Cyborg.
