'Justice League' News, Release Date: New Promo Images Highlight Cyborg, Wonder Woman

"Justice League" is hitting theaters in a few weeks, and the final marketing push for the film is already in full gear. This week, Warner Bros. has released a new batch of images from the upcoming film, highlighting Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher).

Since the previously released promo images for "Justice League" heavily focused on Batman (Ben Affleck) and the other members of the league, this is the first time that fans get to see the two other DC superheroes take the center stage. In the upcoming film, Diana Prince a.k.a Wonder Woman will team up with Victor Stone a.k.a Cyborg, Bruce Wayne a.k.a Batman, and Barry Allen a.k.a. The Flash (Ezra Miller) as they fight against the new threat, Steppenwolf (Ciaran Hinds).

As Warner Bros. enters the final leg of promotional activities for the film, it has started rolling out the "Justice League Character Weeks," wherein certain characters from the upcoming film get to be highlighted every week. Following the "Aquaman Week" and the "Flash Week," Gadot and Fisher announced on Monday that this week is going to be "Wonder Woman and Cyborg Week."

The new images of Gadot and Fisher's characters joining forces made its way online on Monday through Twitter user Sean, who credited WB India with the release. The first image features Diana Prince donning a black leather jacket, while the others feature Cyborg manning the Batmobile and staring out a broken window, and Miller's Flash in a red jacket.

The film's official Twitter also posted a new video for the two superheroes, where Fisher is shown outlining his character in between moments that tease the romantic connection of Cyborg and Wonder Woman in the upcoming film. AT & T also uploaded a new footage of Cyborg showing off his powerful abilities. It was previously teased that "Justice League" will feature some upgrades from the original comics when it comes to Cyborg's powers.

"Justice League" will hit theaters on Nov. 17.
