'Justice League' News: Warner Bros. Announces Immersive VR Experience Ahead of Film's Release
Warner Bros. is launching a "Justice League" VR experience in anticipation of the movie's big premiere later this year.
According to Deadline, the VR experience will allow fans to become the "Justice League" superhero of their choice, except for Superman, who was still supposed to be dead.
To start things off, fans can download the VR experience on their smart phones on Sept. 17. The download is completely free of charge and will allow fans to get a 90-second glimpse at the interactive game. Then, from Oct. 5 to 8, lucky fans who will attend the New York Comic-Con will be given a more in-depth look at the VR experience.

On Nov. 17, the premiere date of "Justice League," the "IMAX VR: Justice League Experience" will be released at IMAX VR Centres. The full release of "Justice League Virtual Reality: The Complete Experience" will take place in December.
DC fans are definitely gearing up for the highly awaited superhero ensemble movie. Warner Bros. has already introduced Bruce Wayne/Batman, Diana Prince/Wonder Woman and Clark Kent/Superman in previous films, but fans have yet to meet The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg. And while some may have already gotten used to the edgier Batman, they should expect a much more "traditional" Caped Crusader in "Justice League."
This much was teased by Ben Affleck himself. As previously reported, Affleck acknowledged the fact that his character was darker in "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice." However, he assured fans that the Batman in "Justice League" will feel more familiar.
"He's heroic. He does things in his own way, but he wants to save people, help people," Affleck told Entertainment Weekly, explaining that Batman in "Batman v. Superman" was filled with anger.
As for Superman, he has not been seen in the promotional materails Warner Bros. has been rolling out. He seemingly died at the end of "Batman v. Superman," but fans are expecting to see him in the upcoming film. After all, the Justice League would be incomplete without the alien superhero.
"Justice League" will hit U.S. cinemas on Nov. 17.
