'Justice League' Release Date, News: What Can Fans Expect from the New Trailer?

It has been quite a while since fans of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) have laid eyes on anything moving regarding the ensemble movie "Justice League." It looks like fans will have to wait just a little more for them to finally see a new trailer for the film, which was confirmed by a lot of people.

It can be recalled that Gal Gadot, who plays the role of Wonder Woman, replied to one of the fans who commented on her Facebook account. When asked about when they will get to see a new trailer, she gave a vague yet promising answer, "Haha, soon!"

Director Zack Snyder has also confirmed this through his Vero account. He mentioned, "Trailer is all part of marketing and there is a set schedule for release." This simply means that a teaser could be closer than one initially imagined.

In that case, what can fans expect from the upcoming trailer? It can be recalled that in the special Comic-Con footage majority of the cast members were already shown, which included Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash. As was teased at the end of "Batman vs. Superman" ("BvS"), Bruce and Diana are looking for metahumans to join their cause.

If there is one thing that can be for sure, that is, it will carry the same vibe as "BvS." Cinematographer Fabian Wagner posted a photo of Gadot as Wonder Woman on Instagram, in which he captioned he worked on "Justice League." He pointed out that he took inspiration from the dark lighting of "BvS," so fans can probably see that in the teaser.

As for things fans would probably like to see, one would be a quick tease on what happened to Superman. He may have died in "BvS," but the ending scene in which dirt was seen levitating atop his wooden casket may be signaling something else.

Arguably, more humor may be appreciated, if anything. "BvS" was criticized for being too dark and boring, so the Flash's humor was well received in the Comic-Con footage. If more of that from other cast members could be seen, that will be a welcome addition.

"Justice League" leaps into action on Nov. 17, 2017.
