'Justice League' Spoilers and Updates: DC's Heroes vs. Deathstroke, Superman to Fly Again
Latest news with 'Justice League' as Snyder wrapped things up in London.
Set to hit the theaters on Oct. 17, 2017, the movie "Justice League" centers on the joint effort of Batman a.k.a. Bruce Wayne, played by Ben Affleck, and Wonder Woman also known as Diana Prince, played by Gal Gadot, to battle one of the most feared nemesis in DC world. They have also recruited the help of three other superheroes to bear arms with them.
In a teaser trailer posted by director Zack Snyder himself, after wrapping up the London scene shoot, Batman, Wonderwoman, The Flash, Cyborg, and Aquaman headed down into the bat cave, hinting that Cyborg and Aquaman had finally joined the league of heroes after Batman failed to recruit them early on.
Snyder teased fans before that another villain might make an appearance in the movie. He posted a photo of him tweaking an illustration of Deathstroke, leading fans to speculate that this is the new villainous character to be introduced.
Deathstroke is a known menace in the world of DC Comics. As a mercenary, Deathstroke has faced and beaten Batman in hand-to-hand combat several times, causing the Dark Knight to worry about the kind of terror he brings with him. The whole of the plot of "Justice League" is still under tight wraps and it is yet to be made public who is playing the role of the super villain.
Staying true to its comic version, the Man of Steel opted to give his life as the ultimate sacrifice to save humanity from Doomsday in "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie. It was a sad ending indeed, but Superman had served his purpose. But, our favorite superhero's demise might not be prolonged as actor Henry Cavill, playing the role of Clark Kent a.k.a. Superman, teased his fans with a photo of the dark suit in his Instagram post just a month ago sparking the rumor that he might just make a huge comeback in DC's latest franchise of the movie "Justice League."
The Man of Steel will fly again, albeit weak from his recent incursion, to complete the DC Comic's Trinity of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. Say bye for the iconic blue suit for now, this time he is going dark. The Bat's suit has also undergone a revamping for the movie.
The fans have high hopes despite the flak that "Batman vs. Superman" and "Suicide Squad" had drawn. "Justice League" is the second movie with major star ensemble.
