Justin Bieber House Raided; Pal Lil Za Arrested on Felony Drug Charges (VIDEO)

Justin Bieber's friend Lil Za was reportedly arrested on Tuesday for drug possession during a raid at the pop star's home.

The rapper and longtime friend of Bieber's was led away in handcuffs during the arrest after eleven Los Angeles County Sheriff's patrol vehicles descended upon Bieber's Calabasas home. Police were executing a search warrant relating to a recent egg-throwing incident which saw Bieber's neighbor accusing the singer of felony vandalism, according to TMZ.com.

One L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. rep confirmed that Lil Za, who has been mired in controversy in the past, was arrested for felony drug possession. A white powdered substance was reportedly "in plain view" when police entered the premises, however Bieber, 19, has no connection to the substance.

During the raid police reportedly seized several items, including the pop star's high-tech home security system, which could be used as evidence in the egg-throwing case. Bieber's neighbor, who captured some of the Jan. 9 incident on video, claims the singer caused approximately $20,000 in damage to his home.

Under California law vandalism that causes more than $400 in damages automatically results in a felony charge.

The egg-throwing case will reportedly be referred to the L.A. County D.A. who will then determine whether or not to proceed with charges against Bieber. If convicted he could face jail time however at this time no charges have been filed.

Bieber fans have expressed concerns in the past regarding the singer's social circles. In January he was photographed smoking a suspicious looking cigarette with Lil Za and days later the pair was photographed with a bottle of champagne in the US– where the legal drinking age is 21.

"Everyday growing and learning. trying to be better. u get knocked down, u get up," Bieber tweeted in early 2013 in what appeared to be his response to the alleged marijuana photos.

This is not the first time that Bieber has been subject to a police raid. In April the "Heartbreaker" singer's tour bus was raided by Swedish police in Stockholm. Police reportedly found a small amount of narcotics on the floor along with a stun gun, but no charges were filed.

Bieber is yet to publicly address his latest police raid scandal.
