Justin Bieber 'Princess' Tweet for Selena Gomez Sparks Reconciliation Reports; 'He Misses Her'

Justin Bieber recently gushed about Selena Gomez via Twitter and a new report claims the singer is trying to win her back.

On Monday Bieber, 20, tweeted a photograph of Gomez at Vanity Fair's Oscars party alongside the photo caption "Most elegant princess in the world."

The tweet follows reports claiming the former Disney star, 21, was devastated after hearing recent rumors of Bieber's alleged romance with Chantel Jeffries. While the model, 19, denied ever dating the pop star, insiders claim Gomez believes otherwise and Bieber is determined to reconcile.

"Justin wants Selena back ... He misses her and feels lost and empty without her," a source told HollywoodLife.com.

"He's pretty surprised that their roles have changed. She used to be more into him, and now it's the other way around," the source continued. "The more she pulls away, the more appealing she is to him."

Gomez reportedly began dating One Direction singer Niall Horan last month in an attempt to move on from Bieber. The "Confident" singer was reportedly hurt over Gomez and Horan and subsequently did not invite her to his birthday on March 1.

"Justin flew to the Bahamas on his birthday and had a small house party at the place he rented," the source revealed.

"His mom, dad, and little brother and sister were also there ... [it] was pretty low-key. That was a wake-up call for Justin; feeling lonely not having Selena around for his big day," the source explained. "And now he's doing whatever he can to win her back."

Gomez has had a difficult past few months following her stint in rehab and concert cancellation.

Despite her recent troubles, the "Come & Get It" singer appeared radiant dressed in an Emilio Pucci golden gown during Sunday's Oscars bash. She reportedly attended with her best friends Vanessa Hudgens and Taylor Swift.
