K. Michelle Prays for a Smaller Circle of Friends Amid Fame Troubles
Singer-songwriter K. Michelle, who became popular on the VH1 hit series "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" has revealed her prayer amid issues with fame.
"It's not as glamorous as people think. They only see the end result and not all the preparation it takes," K.Michelle told CNikky.com. "With fame comes a lot of stress, and a lot of judgment and a lot of struggle. So, I really didn't even think about that and take that into consideration when I said I wanted to be a singer."
Because of these issues, the singer said she prays to God for a smaller circle, which fans will witness on her new show "K.Michelle: My Life."
"Seems like even your closer friends want something from you," she said. "I just ask God to make my circle smaller …I'm more at peace with my circle being so small."
Last year, K. Michelle revealed why she was leaving "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta."
"Yeah it's time to go. I just feel like God's just really blessing me," K. Michelle previously told the Atlanta radio station 94.5 FM. "I just feel like I can't keep putting myself in negative situations that's going to make me want to slap somebody."
The singer has engaged in verbal and physical altercations with "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" cast members. However, she has been adamant about trying to make some changes, and previously took to Twitter to express her desire to let God help her do just that.
"Who knows what GOD has in store 4me," K. Michelle tweeted last year. "All I know is I'm tired of being the K. michelle that has to curse everybody out. I've found my smile."
The singer went on to speak about God delivering her from negativity that fans witnessed her involved in with the Atlanta series.
"When God delivers you from drama and conflict you don't revisit it. I'm living my dreams," she tweeted. "My life is good, ill pray 4u and ur healing (SIC)."
