Kailyn Lowry News: Reality Star Refuses to Let Social Media Influence Co-Parenting With Ex, Reveals Son's Participation in New Book
"Teen Mom" star Kailyn Lowry will not let social media ruin her co-parenting relationship with ex Javi Marroquin ever again. Meanwhile, Kailyn announced that her son, Isaac, will have a big participation in her new children's book.
Kailyn's relationship with Javi has been put in the spotlight because their appearance on "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars" revealed that they were both unfaithful to each other. However, the "Teen Mom" star refuses to let the public's opinion affect her relationship with Javi, especially with the co-parenting of their son, Lincoln.
"I learned my lesson with Jo [Rivera] about bashing and social media and all the drama we let impact our co-parenting of Isaac in the beginning," Kailyn said in an interview with In Touch Weekly.
"I wasn't going to make that same mistake twice," the reality star said.
Meanwhile, Kailyn is building her career around her family by giving her kids big roles in her creation of children's books.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Kailyn shared that the family French bulldog inspired her to make a new children's book, and that she arranged for her son Isaac — whom she shares with ex Jo Rivera — to have a big part in the project.
"I'm excited to announce Isaac is going to be the illustrator of our new children's book. Isaac loves to be artsy and creative so when I suggested the children's book idea about our dog he was pumped to do the pictures for it," Kailyn revealed.
The MTV reality star isn't stopping there. Kailyn shared that she's also looking forward to have her other sons, Lincoln and Lux, to be involved in her future projects. But Kailyn is making sure not to force it on them.
"Anything involving this kind of stuff is always optional for them," said Kailyn, adding that she gives them the same independence when it comes to filming for her reality shows.
