Kangaroos Street Fight in Australian Suburb, Video Goes Viral (WATCH)
Kangaroos street fight, apparently. One man from a town on the Central Coast in New South Wales, Australia managed to catch the animals duking it out one-on-one in a video that has now gone viral, racking up over 3.5 million hits in just a few days.
The kangaroo street fight video was taken by YouTube user Rodney Langham. He saw the two animals fighting early in the morning on a suburban street. The kangaroos punched, kicked, choked, scratched and shoved each other for five minutes before Langham stopped taping.
Both the kangaroos used their forelegs to scratch each other and used their strong tails to balance on while kicking each other. After a while the fight moved from the street to the front yard of one of the neighbors, and the cameraman followed while keeping his distance.
Langham set the entire scene to classical music by Tchaikovsky. YouTube users commented and many of them got a kick out of the entire ordeal.
"I'm gonna be late to work, John. There are kangaroos fighting in front of my car," one user joked.
"Australian street gangs are serious business," another said.
"That's absolutely amazing … how can their tails support that much weight … they gotta be at least 300 lbs I'd hate to get whacked by that thing," a YouTube user posted.
The boxing kangaroo, a drawing of a yellow kangaroo with bright red boxing gloves, is a national symbol in Australia and has been used since the 1980s.
