Kanye West News: Singer Accuses Taylor Swift as the Cause of the 'Beginning the End of his Life'
Six years after interrupting Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, Kanye West still blames Swift for the falling out of his personal life and career, saying that his uncalled-for action ignited the beginning of the end of his life.
West had just performed Rihanna's "Famous" song in his Manila concert in line with the release of his album "The Life of Pablo" when he said that the song was instrumental in breaking his writer's block. He then went on saying:
"... Because it's something that I wanted to say so bad that they told me I couldn't say. And this is the song that I wanted to say so bad that they told me I couldn't say. That night when I went onstage was the beginning of the end of my life… you know what night I'm talking about," West said as the crowd cheered.

It can be recalled that the feud between West and Swift started in 2009 when the former interrupted the latter as she was delivering her acceptance speech at the MTV Music Video Awards for the Best Female Video category. In the middle of Swift's speech, West went up onstage, grabbed the microphone from the awardee, and said:
"Hey, Taylor. I'm really happy for you. I'll let you finish, but Beyoncé has one of the best videos of all time!" West said as Swift was apparently stunned.
It goes without saying that the act of West fell in the bad graces of those who have witnessed it, whether live or on TV, including U.S. president Barrack Obama who called West a jackass. Some of the repercussions for the act of the singer included Lady Gaga's cancellation of their "Fame Kills" tour.
West continued defending his act, asking the crowd what's being said all the time if he gets into trouble for telling the truth. He also claimed that, since that uneventful night, he had to fight every day for the rest of his life as the world turned its back on him when all he did was just verbalized what everyone else was thinking.
Meanwhile, West's "The Life of Pablo" debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 Charts.
