Kanye West to Fuse Dub-Step and Hip-Hop Music with Skrillex on New Album
Kanye West's next album will feature world renowned dub-step master DJ Skrillex on the first song.
In an interview with The Daily Beast, Skrillex shared news of the collaboration with the famed rapper stating that he knows a song they worked on together will appear on his fifth solo effort.
"I did some music with Kanye and from what I know, it's actually going to be the first song on his new album," he said.
Kanye West's mentor and frequent Jay-Z producer, No I.D., also revealed that West has a new album in the works and that he will also play a significant role in its creation.
"I'm not working on that [Cruel Summer] album; I'm working on his album," said No I.D. back in July. He also assured fans that Kanye West will maintain his consistency with the next project.
"This is Kanye. You know what to expect from the family. He hasn't missed yet, so don't expect him to miss," he added.
The family he speaks of is West's G.O.O.D. Music Record label who will release their compilation album title Cruel Summer next month.
The group already released several singles for the project including the summer smash 'Mercy,' and 'New God Flow.'
West also celebrated the one year anniversary of his collaborative album with Jay-Z titled Watch the Throne this week, as the record dropped on Aug. 8, 2011. The dynamic duo released a short documentary this week that chronicles the creation of the album that spawned hits such as "Otis," and "Paris."
Aside from music, West also participated in a new ad for the 2012 MTV Music Awards that also featured his new girlfriend Kim Kardashian.
