Kate Gosselin Fired From Blogging Job, 'Not a Good Fit With Team'

Kate Gosselin has allegedly been let go from her blogging job at CouponCabin.com. According to reports, there were questions of Gosselin's ability to mesh with the rest of the team.

"A series of recent events have made it clear to me that Kate Gosselin and her contributions do not align with the authenticity which we set out to build almost a decade ago," CouponCabin's CEO Scott Kluth posted on his website.

Gosselin began working with the site nearly one year ago, but unfortunately that has come to a screeching halt. Her blogging brought mixed reviews from CouponCabin readers, as some supported the single mom while others simply couldn't handle "learning" from one whose profile is so controversial.

"Ms. Gosselin is simply not a good fit with the wonderful team and culture at CouponCabin," Kluth's letter continued. "It's with this that I am writing to inform you of our decision to discontinue Ms. Gosselin's feature blog on CouponCabin.com," he explained.

The website was founded nine years ago and has been a popular site, especially given the state of the economy and the trend towards saving money. Shows like "Extreme Couponing" and "Extreme Cheapskates" have documented the lengths people are willing to go to in order to save money.

"Ms. Gosselin's contributions garnered both positive attention and criticism, but as always, I respect and appreciate your candid opinion opinions, which often encourage us not to lose sight of our mission-to help YOU save money," Kluth added.

It's been a rough few weeks for Gosselin, who was recently the subject of an e-book depicting her as a child abuser. The book caused so much controversy that Amazon dropped it from its online store.

The mother of eight, though, has maintained her innocence and is seemingly moving on to the next stage of her life.
