In July Middleton, 31, gave birth to her and Prince William's first child, Prince George Alexander Louis and on August 26 the Duchess of Cambridge emerged publicly looking noticeably slimmer. While critics have questioned whether she may have gone to extreme measures to shed her baby weight, sources insist her weight loss has not been intentional.

"Kate's still breastfeeding and the small weight she gained while pregnant has just melted off, She's not dieting. After giving birth, she did continue with her yoga," a source told Us magazine adding that Middleton has "hardly done anything to lose the weight . . . she looks incredible. "

Dressed in casual wear and looking happy and relaxed, Middleton was photographed pushing her own shopping cart through the parking lot of her local Waitrose supermarket. Onlookers were reportedly in awe of her post-baby appearance.

"A few weeks after George was born, you could hardly tell she had just given birth," a source said.

During her pregnancy Middleton reportedly continued her daily exercise routine in a bid to maintain her physique. In order to protect the well being of her unborn child, the Duchess reportedly made drastic changes to her exercise routine which included swapping running and cycling for lighter workouts like yoga.

"Kate has a yoga instructor visit her at the palace," a source previously said adding that she still goes on long walks every other day "just to increase her heart rate a little."

Prior to pregnancy, Middleton was always dedicated to grueling workouts, she and her younger sister Pippa would often spend hours in the gym on a weekly basis.

"She works out for at least an hour a day and loves to stay slim and toned. She and Pippa use the gym all the time because it has great equipment and it's completely private," a source previously told Daily Mail. "She has even had [Princes] William and Harry doing crunches and press-ups."

In addition to staying healthy, Middleton is said to be embracing motherhood six weeks after giving birth.

Prince George is the first child for the royal couple and William revealed that fatherhood has been challenging in an interview with CNN.

"[George is] growing quite quickly actually. But he's a little fighter. He kind of, he wriggles around quite a lot. And he doesn't want to go to sleep that much, which is a little bit of a problem," the prince quipped.

"He's a little bit of a rascal, put it that way. So he either reminds me of my brother or me when I was younger," he continued. "I'm not sure. But he's doing very well at the moment."
