Kate Middleton Pregnant 2014; Duchess Not Expecting Baby Girl, Says Source

Kate Middleton is reportedly not expecting her second child, despite reports claiming otherwise.

The Duchess of Cambridge, 32, has been subject to second pregnancy rumors since giving birth to baby George Alexander Louis in July and on Wednesday a U.S. tabloid fueled reports by claiming she is three months along. An insider claims Middleton told Prince William, 31, that she is expecting a second child on Valentine's day, but royal officials previously denied the reports, according to GossipCop.com.

"Little George is getting a sister, and Kate is absolutely thrilled ... She was really hoping the next child would be a girl, and having it confirmed has just given her the best start to the year," a source told Star magazine.

"Kate has been talking about it to a number of people -- she isn't trying to hide it," the alleged insider went on. "It's so different from when she had George; she seems more at peace now, because she knows what to expect."

The couple raised questions about a second pregnancy in October when they remodeled their four-story 20-room Kensington Palace apartment to include a second nursery in addition to the one made for seven-month-old baby George.

The baby rumors following reports claiming Middleton is undergoing a complete makeover ahead of her upcoming tour around Australia and New Zealand.

The Duchess has become somewhat of a fashion icon in recent years, however, Queen Elizabeth II reportedly insisted that she make adjustments to her wardrobe for a more regal image. Some of these changes include adding couture dresses with lower hemlines as well as heirloom jewels and the Queen's personal dresser Angela Kelly is expected to assist Middleton in her image overhaul.

"Angela has been asked to start selecting jewels ahead of the trip," a source told The Mail on Sunday.

"She knows most of the pieces in the Queen's private collection," the source continued. "Her understanding is crucial because this trip will be about Kate appearing more Royal than ever – you can expect to see a lot more tiaras and the Queen will be watching closely."
